First flight was completed successfully on May 5, 2005 with FAA and EASA certification and first customer deliveries anticipated at the end of 2006.<br /><br />Messier-Dowty has developed a fully integrated landing gear system for the F7X less the braking system, for which the airframer has retained control. While Messier-Dowty is the sole supplier of landing gear on all current Falcon jets, the Falcon 7X is the first Dassault program to incorporate this integrated system approach.<br /><br />This is the first production program where Messier-Dowty will employ HVOF (High Velocity Oxy Fuel) to replace Hard Chrome. More environmentally friendly, HVOF uses metal ceramic powder sprayed at very high speeds sprayed onto components where it consolidates to form a coating resistant to wear and reducing friction. <br /><br /><br /><strong>Sukhoi Russian Regional Jet (RRJ) <br />Main Landing Gear</strong><br /><br />The Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) leads the Russian Regional Jet program with support from Ilyushin, Yakovlev and Boeing. This family of 3 models includes a 60, 75 and 95 seater and will retain maximum commonality to meet the demands of operators. Although primary demand for the RRJ is expected to originate from Russia and other members of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Sukhoi and its partners plan to market the airplane worldwide with Russian and FAA/JAA certification.<br /><br />Snecma Moteurs, another SAFRAN Group company, in collaboration with NPO Saturn will provide the engines for this aircraft.
